Empowering Liberian Storytellers
Together Liberia trainers and Newhouse School graduate students Andrew Hida and Bob Miller conducted a “storycorps” style audiobooth on the topic of faith at the Church of Pentecost in Logan Town, Monrovia. Featured in this soundbooth were Edward Embiasu & Benjamin Godopiaso, John Fred Yon Jr. & Prince N Shereef as well as Joseph, Georgina & David Acheampong.
Andrew Hida was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and is currently a master’s candidate in photography at Syracuse University, and a Carnegie-Knight Syracuse News21 fellow. more
